VE series are non-contact type of vibration/small displacement detector with high accuracy which can measure the distance between conductor such as metal and sensor’s surface in micron/submicron resolution. It demonstrates its best performance when used for the measurement and control of the axial and surface vibration of rotational shafts such as main shaft of turbines, electric motors, compressors, and of the thickness and width of moving objects. In addition to the measurement of the amount of displacement, a gap detector can also be used for a wide range of other measurement and control applications such as the measurement of the amount of slack or warping. The non-contact measurement process enables to apply no load to rotational or vibration body, and does not affect the material under measurement.

With new Guzik RWA4000 TDMR, UP14 allows to process signals from three Read Channels. It also supports two high speed data channels for Write data and Laser data. UP14 has two channels for dynamic TFC control and allows to program TFC power per sector and close loop TFC power control in each channel. UP14 can generate two programmable modulation signals for write data and laser data with bandwidth up to 20 MHz. UP14 consist of two boards. The first UP14 RW Board processes high-frequency signals: read-back signals, write data and laser data. The second UP14 Control Board provides power, control and low-frequency signal generation: TFC, write data modulation and laser modulation.

They convert the signal to a proportional 4-20mA DC signal that can be used as an input to process control instrumentation such as a PLC or DCS. They provide additional convenience features such as optional displays, BNC connectors for access to the dynamic sensor signal, and bandpass filtering. Metrix offers seismic signal conditioners that can accept either acceleration or velocity sensors, and are available with or without an integral display.
